Welcome to Camp Tremendous Time Travelers! Get ready, get set and go back in time. Travel with us as we explore the past and future, the times when T-Rex roamed the earth and hieroglyphics were used to communicate. Large and small group activities will engage camers each day as they have fun exploring the unknown and looking forward to the future.
This year`s summer camp, Camp Tremendous Time Travelers, includes opportunities for campers to expand their horizons through reading with the Time Traveling Story Moments, stay in shape with the Timed Exercise-all while building positive character traits, vocabulary and knowledge and having fun at the same time! Get ready for the ultimate in ten weeks of exhilarating fun. Let the travels begin.
Week 1: It`s Time-"Blast From the Past" Get ready for some amazing sights!
Weeks 2 & 3: Prehistoric Era- Week 2 will be "Dino-rrific Dinosaurs" and week 3 will be "Physical
Features of the Ice Age." During these weeks, campers will "travel" to frigid Ice
and to the land of powerful, prehistoric dinosaurs!
Weeks 4 & 5: Ancient Civilization- Week 4 will be "Ancient Greece" and Week 5 will be
"Egyptians Rule." During these weeks, campers will "see" the cities of Ancient
Greece and along the Nile River in Ancient Egypt.
Weeks 6 & 7: Explorers- Week 6 will be "Midieval Times" and Week 7 will be "Unexpected
Discoveries" Get ready to "travel" among nobles and knights, stroll with
musicians and experience food fit for a feast. Then get ready to head to a new
world during the "Age of Discovery" where the excitement of the unknown awaits.
Weeks 8 & 9 Moving West- Week 8 will cover "Western Track" and Week 9 will be "Western
Cowboys" Our rootin, tootin time machine will head west to learn what cowboys
and cowgirls did best.
Week 10: The Future- "Welcome to the Future" During this week campers will travel to the
year 2020 where they will learn futuristic inventions and prepare for the end
of summer Fabulous Futurama Celebration.
